Unicorn flooring have announced the creation of 10 new jobs after a successful takeover of Belgian based Ecoloc Flooring.
The acquisition has strengthened the company’s distribution network whilst affirming our position as Europe’s largest manufacturer of PVC interlocking floor tiles.
Unicorn Flooring currently operate from two production facilities in Lisburn and Markethill manufacturing Flexi-Tile, a revolutionary loose-lay interlocking PVC floor tile. The acquisition of Belgian based company Ecoloc, who pioneered interlocking flooring in 1983 with their Lock-Tile brand, will see production transfer from our facility in Spain to our manufacturing base in the UK. The new jobs will see eight positions assigned to our Markethill site, with a further two based in Lisburn.
Unicorn Flooring are now able to enhance our market position by aligning all production in Northern Ireland, indicating our commitment to the local economy and manufacturing industry. With an extensive range of products on offer, we are pleased that our customers can now get even more choice when selecting a product from us.
