Unicorn Group Attend Thrive Club Event To Gain Valuable Customer Insights from Hamish Taylor!

The Sales and Marketing teams from Flexi-Tile and Unicorn Hygienics recently attended a Thrive Club event at the Crowne Plaza in Belfast and sponsored by Evelyn Partners. This forum provides a platform for businesses to connect, network and learn from industry experts.

The guest speaker for the event was Hamish Taylor, an award-winning CEO with a distinguished career spanning international giants like Procter & Gamble, Price Waterhouse, British Airways, Eurostar and Sainsbury's Bank. His witty anecdotes and vast experience in leading transformative change were immediately evident.

The event, titled "Trains, Planes... And Toilet Cleaners!", delved into the critical topic of customer-centricity. Hamish stressed that it's not just about meeting customer needs, but also about making them feel valued and appreciated. This concept, known as "Customer Insight," is essential for building strong and lasting customer loyalty.

He emphasised that a strong value proposition should focus on the benefits that customers derive, rather than solely highlighting the features of our products or services.

The event included interactive exercises where Hamish guided us in creating insight maps and customer promises centred around the value we bring to our customers.

Inspired by the event, the Unicorn Group teams are already applying the knowledge gained from the event back at the office, to enhance our customer experience. Our aim is to deliver exceptional service, build stronger relationships with our valued customers, and provide innovative and high-quality products and services.
